More and More

The freedom that we have or what people think is freedom today is not what it used to be in this country. The freedom today is like the fruit juice we buy in the grocery store. It contains only 10% of the real thing and the rest is what they add to it. People today don’t have a clue what generations before us went though so we could have what we have today. What we do today will determine what the next generations will have to live with. If we pollute the planet, or use up its natural resources, what will they have to work with or live in? What we do or build today will be tomorrow’s foundation and direction that our next generation will build up on.

The old saying “You are what you eat” describes this country to the “T”. All we do is consume and consume so much that we are getting fat and lazy. We look for the easiest and cheapest way to do something or we just sit on our butts and do nothing. The State of Oklahoma state motto is “labor conquers all things”. When all of the foreigners and immigrants in this country take over the labor work force, they will have this country for their own because no one will get off there lazy butt and work. The foreigners and immigrants in this country are like a virus in your body. They have their own agenda and do not see their own destruction, but yours.

As I look around and see people wanting more and more just to keep their status level, I wonder where is the line for having the bare necessity, living comfortable, keeping up with the Jones or just flat greed. When is enough, enough to live on and enjoy life? The more we take today for our self’s, the less the next generation will to work with and/or more problems to deal with. It seems that the more we have, the more we want with no concerns of the consequences of our.  This country is the dumping grounds of the world. 80% of the stuff we import or make here in the United States will end up in a landfill or in our water system. We are the only species whose own waste has very little recyclable use. We just dump it in a hole or throw it out the window as we drive down the road. If people don’t change their ways, the freedom and country that they have now will be like living in an aquarium, not the open sea and if we don’t clean up our act, well “You know the rest”.

I have got a lot of the problems figured out and how to fix them. They are simple, but only if people are willing to listen. For any government to work, it is the people that make it work. You can not expect the government to do it all for you or to have all the answers. Sometimes the people want to much given to them. Fixing the problems in this country starts with everybody on every level. When we start putting this country first, not us, then this country will have a chance to be strong again. If we don’t do something in the next year or two about changing our ways, then all the men and women who fought and died protecting this country will have died for nothing. When this country falls, the next time the flag goes back up the pole it will be of a different shape and color.  Only you can make the change.
